Hallows eve...

Ta Daaa!!! Lauren had fun dressing up and hitting the town.

I think she thought it was a bit itchy at first, but quickly forgot about her dress after she was given her pumpkin basket...

The museum was fun, but VERY crowded and chaotic. LMN spent most of the time sitting on the floor counting her loot.

She got the hang of trick-or-treating pretty quickly. We are hoping she doesn't start transferring her newly found skill to boutiques off Madison Avenue :)

LMN wore this kitty costume to her music class today. She looked so cute, we almost didn't change her into her official costume.

Happy Halloween!! (a night at the museum).

We are off to the 12th Annual Spooktacular Halloween celebration at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan. Lauren will be able to wander among dangerous dinosaurs, eerie elephants, and the unearthly universe when more than 30 of the museum's halls open for trick-or-treating. Pictures to come!!

As everyone knows, we love Halloween...and we wish you all were a bit closer so that we could celebrate together. We hope you have a spooky and safe evening...

Sunday was a beautiful fall day. We spent most of the afternoon exploring central park and running errands.

Lauren had fun walking the paths.

well...sort of. 'Moving on up' into student housing (not quite the same thing) and outta Brooklyn. Our new living room...cozy and comfortable. We are not complaining!! Did we mention that Christine's commute is now only a block away...yea!!

and...drumroll...Central Park is only TWO blocks away! Sadie is breathing a sigh of relief. On the second baby front: Christine will be 30 weeks pregnant this Wednesday. Almost starting her 8 month!! Below: Lauren pushing her stroller and enjoying the fall weather...

A Fiscal and Tecky Toddler

Dad is teaching Lauren all about the 'piggy bank.' Lauren is learning quickly and now points to it all the time and yells 'PIGGY~"

In addition, to her fixation with the bank and ALL coins...she also likes to play with the camera (which makes taking pictures in general a bit more challenging).

Things were all good until Christine taught her how to take the money out of the bottom of the bank. Bad idea!!! Neal was a bit disappointed (not totally conducive to learning about 'the future and importance of saving'...oops...mom screwed up on that one) Below: Here is Lauren with the camera...again...cheese!!!
