Thanksgiving 2007
Dad and Susan joined us for Thanksgiving. We spent the morning at the Macy's day parade and the afternoon in Chinatown. The above and below pictures were taken at Ping's Seafood, an authentic Chinese restaurant. No turkey on turkey day for us!
Lauren had fun hanging out with Grandma Susie and Grandpa Dick.
Lauren has become an Ebee Baby addict (a tv show for toddlers). Every morning she wakes up and says, "EBEE!" (her new favorite word). In the above picture she is watching her show.
Below: Breakfast sandwichs at the Radisson.

6 weeks and counting...
Christine went to the doctor yesterday, and her MD recommended that she drop down to 1/2 days at work. Baby-boy Navrat's head is apparently 'very low' and she is 1 cm dilated. Barberi does not want him to come this early, so she is asking her to add a few 'restrictions' to her lifestyle for the next several weeks. After a bit of 'bureaucratic hassle,' Mount Sinai agreed to the part-time status and she will be working mornings until he decides to arrive. Christine is looking forward to more LMN time and a few extra naps :)
Dad and Susan arrive tomorrow for Thanksgiving. We are excited to see them and spend a bit of quality time together. Also hoping to catch the Macy's parade and hit Chinatown for some noodle soup...

32 week appointment
A quick update...
We had our 32-week appointment this morning...all is looking good. The baby is measuring a bit small (25%), but the doctor does not seem concerned. LMN was also little...so not to worry. The good news: we do not need a c-section as the placenta has moved away from the cervix and it is no longer considered a placenta prevaria (yea!).
Dr. Barberi also said that I am 1/2 cm dilated and that he is in the 'head-down' position (not breech). I asked if it is a bit early to be dilated, and she said it could mean an early, but full-term arrival (37 weeks) or it could also mean that I will be dilated for 8-plus or minus more weeks...hard to tell.
We are getting excited and looking forward to the upcoming holidays!

Hummingbird at Dusk
Please do a search for Den Navrat, and vote for his hummingbird photo. Once the photo appears, click on the 'vote for my photo' icon on the left hand side of the screen. You then have the opportunity to rate the photo...please check a '10' (of course!!) at the top of the screen. If Lauren's pappy gets enough votes, he might be awarded $1,000 (enough for him to visit us in NYC!!).
Thank you!
