Christine was busy changing Sammy when LMN dove into the french bread.  Neal seemed suprised by Lauren's quick moves when mom entered the room, but I think dad was the instigator :)  It's almost as big as she is...

Lazy Sunday

Hanging out at the park. Neal has been traveling a lot lately, but we are coming up to his last week. After this stint, he should be consistently around until late August. Whew! Thank goodness he is home on the weekends. Single parenting is tough!

Grandpa Dick was able to join us. He has been working so hard lately, we are hoping that he unofficially retires soon!

Our friends joined us for a playdate on Saturday. LMN enjoyed Toye's company. See my outfit, Grandma Sue? Sam & Lauren chilling on the couch.

Vegas (minus kids)

Neal and Christine spent the weekend together in Vegas.  Neal was scheduled for a conference during the week, and Christine few out on Friday and stayed until Monday.  It was our first time away from the kids since Sam was born.

We stayed at Caesar's Palace! 

Neal suprised Christine when we arrived at the hotel with champagne, flowers, etc.  Christine definitely got spoiled.  Grandma Sue and Kristin flew into NY to spend the weekend with them while we were away.

We went to a few shows, gambled a bit (Neal won over $600!), and relaxed.  A much needed reprieve (although it was VERY hard to leave the little ones behind...we knew they were in good hands).
